Lessons learned -1

I would like to share my experience on lessons learned. This is one of the learning from the life. I am doing my dissertation and collecting the questionnaires from USA, Taiwan and Mongolia. Actually I do not have any problems collecting questionnaire from Mongolia, because my uncle helps me lot and already collected 40 questionnaire from experts. But I get difficulties to collect from USA and Taiwan. Taiwan was quite easier as well that an adviser helps me to collect from his PhD students and friends. Still, I need 10 more. The questionnaire collection is actually very challenging and a difficult issue. From USA, it is the hardest one. I sent e-mail to almost 100 people, including university professors and company managers, but I only get two respond. Then, I asked my friends, relatives and ex bosses of my mom whom I have not contacted a while to help me out. Fortunately, they actually helped me. So, what i learned from here. Someone's request will take may be 30 minutes from your busy schedule, but it will be a life -time assistance to this person. Do not be burden to give any assistance who need it.
